Olympic National Park falls

Posting this cooling GIF in a vicarious effort to think cool during California's extended heat wave.

A couple of months ago we took a trip up to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state. We spent time in Port Townsend and Sequim (John Wayne was a frequent visitor and docked his boat there). We also did some hiking in the Olympic National Park near Lake Crescent. I believe these are the Marymere Falls, though I unfortunately didn't write the name down when I recorded this simple video. We saw several falls in our traipsing.

The trip up and back was hot as blazes, and we missed the McKinney Fire near Yreka by a few hours. It was 111 degrees the day we passed through.

Peace to all, and conserve your energy... bodily and residential.
