2025: Year of the Snake
This is a couple of days early for the Chinese New Year, but this is a better topic than last week's inauguration and the mayhem that is following said event.
So, what does the Google search AI say about folks born under this year's animal sign, the Snake?
From Google:
"People born in the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac are said to have many positive traits, including wisdom, charm, and intuition. They are also known for being mysterious, strategic, and goal-oriented...
Wise: Snakes are known for their wisdom and intelligence. They are often deep thinkers and can quickly grasp the key points of a problem
Intuitive: Snakes are said to have a strong intuition and are good at understanding and caring about others.
Charismatic: Snakes are often charismatic and have many admirers.
Strategic: Snakes are known for being strategic and determined. They are single-minded in achieving their goals.

Other traits graceful, stylish, good at talking, value knowledge, and work hard."
Interesting. How well does the Chinese Zodiac match up with people out and about?
I looked up 1946 and found that folks born in that year are under the sign of the Dog. My Google search AI says:
"People born in the year of the Dog are said to be loyal, honest, caring, and compassionate."
Yeah, I think that perfectly describes the Orange Man, who last week called the Episcopalian minister "nasty" for pleading with him to "show mercy" toward the groups he's targeted for deportation.
Damn. I wasn't gonna comment on last week's events. Sorry.
But maybe I put as much stock in the Chinese horoscope as I do in the other... zilch.
Peace to everyone, and how's your mercy quotient?
